Chicken — How to play & pay table

Everything about the game: how it plays, what each combination pays, the RTP, and how every round can be verified on-chain.

🐔

Chicken

Twenty lanes. One automatic hop. A fresh road every bet.

House Edge: 2%

Chicken shows a road of 20 lanes. You choose difficulty, not a lane: every hop tests protocol bit 0 on a newly seeded road. Difficulties 1–4 publish 6, 10, 12 or 13 cars and pay 1.40×, 1.96×, 2.45× or 2.80× on survival. Every hop settles separately to balance; another hop re-stakes the credited return.

How to play

Pick a difficulty, then press Hop. There is no lane to choose: the chicken always tests the near lane of a road that is scattered again before every hop. Survive and the gross return is paid straight to your balance; press again and that exact amount becomes the next stake. Stopping is simply not pressing again, because there is nothing to cash out.
🛡️
Fairness
Every settled hop reveals the complete hazard mask, including losses. A set bit identifies a car; bit 0 decides the hop. The receipt keeps the full mask, tested lane, signed stake and settlement identity. Each difficulty has 98.00% RTP per hop and a 2.00% house edge. These are per-bet figures, not a promise for a repeated sequence.

Frequently asked questions

Do I choose a lane?
No. Hop always sends choiceValue 0. Bit 0 decides the result, shown as lane 1 at the bottom of the road. The 20 lanes reveal one bet, not 20 promised payouts.
How does difficulty change a hop?
Difficulties 1–4 put 6, 10, 12 or 13 cars in 20 lanes. Survival is 14/20, 10/20, 8/20 or 7/20; gross return is 1.40×, 1.96×, 2.45× or 2.80×.
Does the road stay safe after a win?
No. All 20 lanes are seeded again before each hop. Previous cars and clear lanes predict nothing about the next independent bet.
Do I need to cash out?
No. A surviving hop already pays its gross return into balance. Another hop stakes that entire return. Stopping sends no transaction and changes no balance.
What do the two multipliers mean?
The left number is the gross price of one hop. The right is the actual latest banked return divided by the starting stake, floored to four decimal places. While re-staked or after a loss, it is labelled historical. Details retain exact step prices and payouts.
What are the limits and return?
Each bet must be 5–40 USDT; the per-bet payout cap is 200 USDT. Every difficulty has 98.00% RTP and 2.00% house edge per hop. Each additional bet pays its own edge. A return above 40 USDT is fully paid, but requires a new local run with a legal stake.
What happens on reload or a long wait?
An open hop is reconstructed from its request ID, stake and difficulty. Earlier local wins are not in that book, so its baseline begins with the pending hop. An unresolved submission remains locked; resync checks for its receipt without placing another bet. Refund and rescue are separate terminal outcomes, never road losses.
How can I inspect a lost hop?
Bet details keeps the settlement identity, string request ID, stake, gross payout and all 20 lane statuses. A set mask bit means a car. Lane 1 is protocol index 0. The complete road remains visible until you prepare the next bet.
