Moles

Seven holes, one dog, eight stages of prey

House Edge: 2.00% – 2.29%

Moles is a dog, seven burrows and whatever is hiding down them. You choose how many of the seven holes hold a mole — from one (a 1-in-7 press that pays 6.86×) to six (a 6-in-7 press that pays 1.14×) — and then you press one hole. That single press is a complete, independent bet: hit and the payout lands in your Balance immediately, miss and that press's stake is gone. Press again and you are staking what you just won, which is how a run climbs; each of the eight stages re-arranges the same seven holes into a new figure and puts new prey down them.

Fairness
Nothing about the field is hidden, and the prey is no longer merely asserted — it is published. The chain produces verifiable randomness (Chainlink VRF on Arbitrum, Switchboard on Solana — committed before your bet and verified at reveal), you name the hole you are pressing BEFORE that randomness exists, and the program settles the strike first: with M of the seven holes baited, your press hits when randomness mod 7 lands in the top M ranks, so the chance is exactly M/7. Only then are the other moles arranged among the six holes you did not press — which is why the arrangement can never move the money. What it buys is the reveal: the chain publishes the whole baited board for that press, on EVERY press, miss included, so a miss can SHOW you where the prey was instead of telling you. Take the published value, redraw the same board, and it matches. Every mole count pays ⌊98·7/M⌋ percent, from a table generated from a single source and compiled into the program. That floor is the honest part: a two-outcome bet has one payout knob and the label grid is 0.01×, so the return lands at 98% or just under it, never above — 97.71% to 98.00% across the six rows, a house edge of 2.00% to 2.29%. That figure is PER PRESS. A run is a chain of separate bets that each paid their own edge, so an eight-press run returns about 0.98⁸ of what was staked through it, not 98% — the board shows your real running total instead of a headline the maths cannot keep.
