Keno is the classic number draw, running entirely on-chain. Pick 1 to 5 of the 20 board numbers, place your stake, and the chain draws ten. How many of your picks it finds decides your return — a 5-pick perfect board pays 19.9×.

The draw is not made by your browser. The chain produces verifiable randomness (Chainlink VRF on Arbitrum, Switchboard on Solana — committed before your bet and verified at reveal), and the ten numbers are drawn from it with ten shrinking-modulo divisions over a 20-cell deck. Take the published value, run the same ten divisions, and you get the same ten numbers. The five paytables are merkle-committed, live in the program, and return exactly 95% — a 5% house edge.

How to win

  • Choose 1–5 numbers, place your bet, and the chain draws 10 of the 20.
  • Your payout depends on how many of your picks are among the drawn 10 — the paytable changes with how many you picked.
  • Missing most of your picks loses the stake; that is Keno's rule, unlike Plinko.

RTP & house edge

Every paytable returns exactly 95% (a 5% house edge), generated from one merkle-committed source and proved on-chain at load — the number on the board is the number paid, to the digit. Every bet also has a chance at the shared system jackpot.

Why the RTP is exactly 95% — add it up yourself

The return rate is not a claim we make; it is a sum. Take how OFTEN each hit count happens, multiply by what that hit count PAYS, and add the results. The table below prints all three columns, so you can check it on a calculator — the last column has to total 95%. Chances come from the hypergeometric distribution of drawing 10 from a 20-number board; multipliers are read straight from the table compiled into the on-chain program.

Every pick count lands on exactly 95% — picking more or fewer numbers does not move the house edge, only the shape of the risk: few picks hit often and pay shallow, more picks hit rarely and pay deep. The 5% house edge is already inside these multipliers; nothing further is deducted at payout.

Where do the multipliers come from?
The five paytables (one per pick count) are generated from a single source, merkle-committed, and live in the on-chain program. Every table returns exactly 95% (a 5% house edge), and every entry sits on the 0.01× grid — the number on the label is the number paid, to the digit.
Can I lose everything?
Yes — that is Keno's rule, unlike Plinko. Missing most of your picks loses the stake (the 0× cells in the table). In exchange the top hits pay well: pick 5, hit 5, and the table pays 19.9×.
What are the minimum and maximum bets?
The minimum is 1 USDT. The ceiling is set by the bankroll from the Kelly fraction that travels with each table: the spiky 5-pick table is capped tighter than the flat 1-pick one, so every winning draw stays fully payable.
